Some of the most sought-after cars in the world were showcased at Monterey Car Week. Among them were the PB 18 E-Tron, which goes from 0-100k mph in two seconds, the new $5 million Bugatti Divo, and the sleek, all-electric Infiniti P10, which may be the racing car of the future.
Engineer Gorden Wagener unveiled the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept car at the Mercedes Lounge at Pebble Beach, California on Friday during the world famous Moneterey Car Week festivities, drawing oohs and ahs from the croud. The ultra-long luxury coupe extends to an impressive 18.7 feet long and powered by four electric motors which generate 738 horsepower and giving the vehicles a range of 200 miles.
This incredible, one-of-a-kind auto is the Infiniti Prototype 9 concept car, an electric concept that pays homage to the design of the pre-war era. It went on display at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance car event in California last weekend. The prototype, which infuses the aesthetic of a 1940s race with ultra-sleek modern design and technology, can reach up to 140 miles per hour, and ran its first race on Wednesday.
Aston Martin showed off its new Vanquish Zagato Volante on Wednesday, as part of Monterey's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2017 car event. Only 99 units of the new model have been produced, and each comes with the astonishing price tag of $850,000. However, prospective buyers will have to curb their enthusiasm, since all of them have already been sold.
Here's something you've probably never seen before - synchronized tractor ballet. You heard right, these tractors and their drivers rehearsed for dozens of hours to put on a this majestic machine performance last weekend in the Belarussian capital of Minsk. The agro ballet was organized by the Minsk Tractor Plant in celebration of its 71st anniversary and featured tractors wearing giant farm hats dancing to different types of music, ranging from jolly Russian folk songs to timeless classical works by Russian composing legend Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
