The third generation of the Mercedes-Benz CLS is now building more strongly than ever on the aura and unique character of this trendsetting model: the arching waistline, flat side window lines and low passenger compartment make the four-door Coupé unmistakable. At the same time the CLS is another example of the logical evolution of the design idiom of Sensual Purity: sharp edges and lines have been significantly reduced. The CLS is not only decidedly sporty, but also comfortable. The AIR BODY CONTROL suspension, ENERGIZING comfort control and also the very latest infotainment systems with Office in the car, smartphone connectivity via Mercedes-Benz Link and wireless charging accentuate this. The touchpad with controller in the centre console gives haptic and acoustic feedback when operating the numerous convenience functions and settings. The most powerful engine is the six-cylinder petrol unit. The new systematically electrified six-cylinder in-line engine with EQ Boost (integrated starter-alternator) and 48 V on-board electrical system now powers the CLS 450 4MATIC (fuel consumption, combined: 8.0-7.8 l/100 km, combined CO2 emissions: 184-178 g/km)2. Its performance data: 270 kW/367 hp and 500 Nm plus a further 250 Nm of torque and 16 kW/22 hp available via EQ Boost over short periods. The integrated electric motor known as EQ Boost assists the combustion engine e.g. when accelerating, makes driving without the combustion engine possible ("gliding") and supplies the battery with power by means of high-efficiency recuperation. By doing so, it makes fuel savings possible that were previously the exclusive domain of high-voltage hybrid technology. All in all, the new six-cylinder in-line engine delivers the performance of an eight-cylinder engine with significantly lower consumption. The CLS 450 4MATIC is equipped with a particulate filter as standard. All Mercedes-Benz CLS models with 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive feature a sporty setup with an all-wheel drive torque distribution of 45 percent to the front and 55 percent to the rear. As in the C-Class, the combination of the ESP driving dynamics control system with the electronic traction system 4ETS takes over the function of a differential lock when a wheel starts to spin. This saves weight and noticeably improves handling safety as well as ride comfort.
"The new Mercedes-Benz G-Class presents itself in top form. Whether on or off the road and whatever the operating conditions, the off-road vehicle impresses with its performance, cutting-edge assistance systems, outstanding handling, and safety. At the same time, the new suspension, the DYNAMIC SELECT driving modes, the ""G-Mode"" and the three 100-percent differential locks enhance not only ride comfort but also agility - on any surface. Working on the development of the new G-Class was extremely challenging for the team. ""Enhancing an icon such as the G-Class in technological terms was both a challenge and an opportunity at the same time. Each part and every bolt came under close scrutiny"", explains Dr Gunnar Güthenke, Head of the Off-Road Product Group at Mercedes-Benz. ""With the body, our main focus was on increasing the vehicle rigidity and the connections between the suspension and drivetrain with the ladder-type frame"". At the time of market launch in June 2018, the Mercedes-Benz G-Class will be available at an entry-level price of €107,040.50 (price in Germany, incl. VAT) and thus remains at the level of the preceding version. The specification includes a host of new features such as the LED headlamps, the driving assistance systems, the high-quality interior with leather seats, and the new suspension. For demanding customers, options such as the Exclusive Interior Plus with leather on the interior door panels provides even more exclusivity."

Mercedes-Benz will pursue a differentiated strategic approach with its vans in the future. As presented last year (2023), the company is aiming for a premium strategy for its commercial vans. In the future, a focused luxury strategy will apply to all newly developed, privately positioned vans, as is the case for all Mercedes‑Benz passenger cars. The aim is to fully implement this strategic change with the introduction of the upcoming modular and scalable Van Electric Architecture – VAN.EA for short – from 2026. The new private midsize vans EQV and V-Class are an important milestone on this path. Both are further elevated with new exterior and interior designs. There is also an increase in comfort and safety, especially thanks to more intelligent, digital networking. The models have been available to order from Mercedes‑Benz sales partners and online since January 2024. The standard equipment has been comprehensively upgraded and thereby tailored more precisely to customer requirements. The new V-Class starts at a list price of 59,470.25 euros[1], the new EQV from 75,281.78 euros. The new V-Class also forms the basis for the V-Class Marco Polo camper van, which is offered ex factory. It starts at 80,004.89 euros1 and adopts the model's attractiveness almost completely.
For over 75 years, the E-Class has set the standard for mid-range luxury saloons. In 2023, Mercedes-Benz will open a new chapter for the business saloon: the new E-Class points the way in the transition from the combustion engine to electric drive. At the same time, its new electronics architecture allows a comprehensive digital user experience. The first saloon models of the 214 series will arrive at the European sales partners in autumn 2023.The new E-Class has the proportions of a classic three-box saloon: the short front overhang and long bonnet are followed by a greenhouse which is set well back. The ""cab-backward"" design is rounded off by the well-proportioned rear overhang.A black panel-like surface connects the radiator grille with the headlamps. This insert in high-gloss black is visually reminiscent of the Mercedes-EQ models. The three-dimensionally designed radiator grille is either progressive or classic, depending on the equipment line. The new E-Class has high-performance LED headlamps as standard. As an optional extra, DIGITAL LIGHT is available without and with a projection function. All headlamp variants offer a distinctive day and night design. As a typical feature of the brand, the daytime running lights take the shape of an eyebrow. Powerdomes accentuate the bonnet.

Following the launch of the Saloon and the Estate, the All-Terrain rounds off the E-Class family as the third model. Mercedes-Benz has offered the E-Class Estate also as an All-Terrain since 2017.The E-Class All-Terrain is equipped as standard with AIRMATIC single-chamber air suspension. It provides up to 46 mm more ground clearance and continuously adjustable damping for the compression and rebound stages of the shock absorbers.Luggage capacity can be expanded from 615 to 1,830 litres. In the plug-in hybrid model, the capacity ranges from 460 to 1,675 litres.Rear passengers benefit particularly from the 22-millimetre longer wheelbase (2,961 millimetres). They now also have 1,519 millimetres of elbow room – an increase of 25 millimetres. The E-Class All-Terrain has a braked towing capacity of up to 2,100 kilograms. This also applies to the plug‑in hybrid. The unbraked towing capacity is 750 kilograms. With the new MBUX, the main display icons are now simpler and colour-coded to resemble smartphone screen tiles.Depending on the market, the communication module runs on 5G technology. This standard supports much faster data transfer rates than LTE/UMTS.The digital vehicle key lets drivers use an iPhone or Apple Watch as a car key. After pairing a compatible device paired with the vehicle through Mercedes me connect, the device can be used to start, open and lock the E-Class All-Terrain. Key sharing is also possible. The digital key can be shared with up to 16 persons. In markets where Mercedes me connect services are available, the E-Class All-Terrain can be pre-equipped for the digital key as part of the KEYLESS-GO comfort package.
