All-new Renault Kangoo E-Tech electric Interior Design in Red

With the new Kangoo E-Tech Electric, Renault is presenting the popular station wagon as a world premiere in a fully electric version at the Paris Motor Show. The 90 kW/122 hp electric motor and the 45 kWh battery enable a range of up to 285 kilometers in the practical WLTP test cycle. The world first combines a record-breaking amount of space for the driver and passengers with a trunk volume that meets the needs of commercial and municipal users as well as families and leisure-time customers alike.25 years ago Renault presented the first Kangoo. Since then, the French manufacturer has sold over four million units of the station wagon and its commercial vehicle variant, the Kangoo Rapid, in over 50 countries around the world. With its original appearance, its excellent space in a small traffic area and its groundbreaking interior variability, the Kangoo set standards in its class right from the start. As a novelty, the model established the side sliding door for the rear in the station wagon segment. With the Kangoo E-Tech Electric, Renault is now presenting a fully electric version of the bestseller for the first time.

Germany Considers Rolling Out Face Recognition At All Train Statons and Airports

After several terrorist attacks in Germany over the past year ended in tragedy, the country is working to find a balance between privacy and potentially life-saving surveillance. A pilot project testing face recognition technology in Berlin's busy Sudkreuz train station has been scanning faces of passengers for the past 6 months and comparing them to a database of volunteer criminals. About 300 volunteers submitted photos to the project and agreed to allow their faces to be recognized by the system if they transited the station.

RedSpace Electric Prototype Car Designed for Driving in Chinese Megacities

A new Chinese car company called Redspace unveiled the innovative REDS prototype model at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday, designed by former BMW Design Chief Chris Bangle. Deutsche Bahn (DB) unveiled its innovative project called the "Idea Train" in Nuremberg on Thursday, which aims to make rail transportation as enjoyable. Besides the play area for children and fitness studio with exercise bikes and virtual trainers, the Idea Train also feature a special zone where football lovers never have to miss a game. Special noise-cancelling chairs feature built-in tablets with internet access which give passengers the ability to stay connected without being annoyed by more rowdy riders.
