The Taycan Sport Turismo is the latest body variant of the innovative electric sports car from Porsche. The model family now boasts a third design alongside the sports saloon and Cross Turismo. The new derivative is aimed at people who want to combine the everyday usability of the Taycan Cross Turismo with the on-road dynamics of the Taycan sports saloon. As the first member of the Taycan Sport Turismo family, the GTS will be launched at the end of February 2022, with further models following just three weeks later in mid-March. A panoramic roof with Sunshine Control is available as a new optional extra for the Taycan Sport Turismo. A special feature of this is electric glare protection.From a standstill, the Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and its top speed is 260 km/h. The model with the greatest range is the Taycan 4S Sport Turismo, which stretches to 498 kilometres based on WLTP figures. Being part of the latest Taycan generation, the all-wheel drive Sport Turismo models have a particularly efficient drive strategy. Thermal management and charging functions have also been improved. Both batteries can be charged from five to 80 per cent in 22 minutes and 30 seconds. This also means that only five minutes' charging is needed to create a further 100 km of range.
Porsche completes the Macan series with a distinctly sporty model. The new Porsche Macan GTS launches with a powerful engine, performance-oriented chassis, characteristic design and enhanced equipment. The 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine delivers 280 kW (380 PS) - an increase of 15 kW (20 PS) compared with the predecessor model. Combined with the newly adapted PDK dual-clutch transmission and the optional Sport Chrono package, the Macan GTS can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, three tenths faster than before. It has a top speed of 261 km/h.Among other things, the new member of Porsche's compact SUV family has earned the abbreviation GTS, which stands for "Gran Turismo Sport", due to its outstanding driving dynamics. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) damping control system has been specially tuned. The chassis has also been lowered by 15 millimetres for greater lateral dynamics. Adaptive air suspension is optionally available with chassis lowering by a further 10 millimetres. Combined with the standard 20-inch RS Spyder Design wheels and the generously sized cast iron brakes (360 x 36 millimetres at the front, 330 x 22 millimetres at the rear), the new Porsche Macan GTS impresses with the agility and responsiveness of a true sports car. As an option, deceleration can be further improved by means of the Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) with tungsten carbide coating or the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB).Acoustically, the standard sports exhaust system specifically adapted to the GTS accentuates the driving pleasure in the new Porsche Macan GTS. A 2.9-litre V6 engine is at the heart of the sound experience. Its Central Turbo Layout, with two turbochargers arranged in the inner V of the engine, allows particularly direct responsiveness. The maximum torque of 520 Nm (plus 20 Nm) is available over a wide range from 1,750 to 5,000 rpm. The sportiest Macan model consumes 9.6 litres of fuel per 100 kilometres according to NEDC.

GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport. Ever since the creation of the Porsche 904 Carrera GTS in 1963, these three letters have held special significance for Porsche fans. Now, there is a derivative with this legendary letter combination in every Porsche model series. At the LA Auto Show (19 – 28 November 2021), the sports car manufacturer will present a new version of its electric sports car under the acronym GTS. With a range of up to 504 km (based on WLTP figures), the new sports model is the first Taycan to break the 500 km mark.The Taycan GTS is the dynamic all-rounder of the model range. With up to 440 kW (598 PS) of overboost when using Launch Control, its power is impressive. The chassis and optional rear-axle steering have also been specifically adapted to the GTS, while the exterior and interior have a distinctive look.The third body style of the first all-electric Porsche model series will also make its debut at the LA Auto Show: the Taycan GTS Sport Turismo. The newcomer shares its sporty silhouette and rearward-sloping roof line with the Taycan Cross Turismo. Another feature they have in common is the functional design of the luggage compartment, which offers more than 1,200 litres of load capacity under the tailgate.The Taycan GTS and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo start from 131,834 and 132,786 euros (prices for Germany, including 19 per cent VAT and country-specific equipment).
