For Abarth, 2020 was a year of successes: in racing, the Abarth 124 rally won the FIA R-GT Cup – basically the Gran Turismo world championships – for the third year running.Italian and German F4 Championships powered by Abarth: a story of success and promotion of young talents continues.In the Italian F4 championship, the young Gabriele Minì was the first Italian to win in the competition’s history.Commercial successes, too: market share is up almost 50% compared to 2019, setting an all-time record, and the 595 Scorpioneoro and 595 Monster Energy Yamaha have reached 80% of sales outside the domestic Italian market.In addition to its road victories, the Abarth Digital Day won the brand the Guinness World Record for the largest digital gathering ever.
From 14 to 16 May, at the Paul-Ricard circuit in Le Castellet, the young talents of the Italian F4 Powered by Abarth Championship will return to the track. Up to thirty-seven cars will open the eighth season of the ACI Sport preparatory series, the 'oldest' of the series created by the International Automobile Federation in 2014. Once again, the 1400cc T-Jet 414TF engine and 160 CV will accompany the young drivers, many of them get into a car for the first time. The technical package, consisting of a Tatuus chassis, an Abarth engine and Pirelli tires, has been very successful over the years, ensuring safety, performance and reliability. For all these reasons, the Italian championship continues to be a benchmark in the world of motorsports. Once again in 2021, it will feature a record starting grid championing the universal spirit of the championship. Eighteen countries will be represented in the first race of the season, with drivers from four different continents. Twelve teams will compete for the title in the seven scheduled rounds, at the Le Castellet, Misano Adriatico, Vallelunga, Imola, Red Bull Ring, Mugello and Monza circuits, with the season finale scheduled for October 29-31, 2021.
The 2019 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth is the sixth season of the Italian F4 Championship. The calendar was revealed on 1 December 2018. Adria International Raceway and Circuit Paul Ricard were replaced in the series schedule by circuits in Hungary and Austria, Hungaroring and Red Bull Ring respectively. The cancelled race from Misano World Circuit has been rescheduled to run at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Round 5 as a fourth race. Hungaroring round supporting Euroformula Open and Red Bull Ring round supporting International GT Open. Misano World Circuit other all rounds supporting Formula Regional European Championship.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni welcomes German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to Rome, with the two heads of government to hold meetings on various issues including migration.
