Moscow, March 26 (EFE), (Camera: Fernando Salcines).- Spanish guitarists José María Gallardo del Rey and Miguel Ángel Cortés have presented their last flamenco show in the "Guitar Virtuosi" Moscow international festival.FOOTAGE AND SOUNDBITES OF SPANISH GUITARISTS: -MIGUEL ÁNGEL CORTÉS:"Socially speaking, it was a separation. The classic guitar was considered to know "how to read (the music)" and the flamenco guitar was played in bars. 'I go to the theatre and you to go to the bars". A 'civil war' started and we also say that, what we wanted to do with this project, is a 'peace agreement.""Flamenco takes advantage of the harmony and sound of the classic rhythmic, the way flamencos play the music."-JOSÉ MARÍA GALLARDO DEL REY:-"Moreover, I would say that every guitarist (not only the Spanish ones) has, to some extent, the obligation of knowing the flamenco roots of the guitar."
