'Dancing with the Stars' Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Has Covid-19

Carrie Ann Inaba, the beloved "Dancing With the Stars" judge says she has tested positive for Covid-19. She told fans via Instagram: "I'm home with some symptoms and will be sequestering as per the CDC guidelines". She went on to say; "so, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season." In a video accompanying her IG post, Inaba said she is experiencing a fever, bad cough and body aches. Inaba added: "You don't want this". Inaba most recently appeared on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" for the season finale, which aired live on November 24.

    A federal judge has nixed a Trump administration proposal that would have kicked off nearly 700,000 American adults from the USDA's food stamps program. The proposed change to the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, or SNAP, would have made it more difficult for Americans to qualify for the program. The DC US District Court said the proposal leaves 'states scrambling and exponentially increasing food insecurity for tens of thousands of Americans.' The ruling noted the USDA has been 'icily silent' about how many American adults would have been denied SNAP benefits during the pandemic. According to Business Insider, as of May 2020, SNAP rosters added over 6 million new enrollees.

    Democratic senators are fuming over Republican South Carolina Senator Judge Lindsay Graham's refusal to take a COVID-19 test. Democratic Judiciary Committee senators warned him not to proceed with the Supreme Court nomination hearing next week for Judge Amy Coney Barrett. According to Business Insider, the letter said in part, 'We need not proceed in such a reckless and blind fashion.' Graham's decision threatened to scuttle the debate with Democratic opponent Jamie Harrison. Harrison said he would not debate in Graham in person if the incumbent did not get tested.
