Tech giants defy EU laws

Brussels, Jan 19 (EFE), (Camera: EFE).- Large technology companies have gained unprecedented political and economic power which the European Union aims to regulate thanks to two laws, but digital companies invest millions in pressing to subvert the legislation to their favour.Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook and Apple spent more than 19 million euros on "lobbies" in 2019, according to data collected by EU Integrity Watch.
