    According to Business Insider, Instagram is investigating after Alex Jones stoked anti-Semitic hate by posting a painting that has been condemned as being offensive to Jewish people. Accompanied by hashtags including "#resistglobalism," Jones' post depicts a 2016 painting by American artist Mear One, titled "False Profits." The painting shows six suited men sitting around a Monopoly board, which is being held up by four subservient figures, shorn of their clothes. Many of Jones' Instagram followers interpreted the figures seated at the Monopoly board as being Jewish. "Look at all those jews," said one comment. "Stop Zionist shilling," read another. "F---ing jews," a third person remarked.

  • Facebook And Instagram Filed Lawsuits

    According to Business Insider, "Facebook announced Friday that the company, along with Instagram, have filed a federal lawsuit over the sale of fake accounts, likes, and followers. Facebook is suing four companies and three people based in China who have sold and promoted fake accounts, likes, and followers on Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, Apple, Google, LinkedIn, and Twitter." Paul Grewal, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Facebook, wrote, "By filing the lawsuit, we hope to reinforce that this kind of fraudulent activity is not tolerated — and that we'll act forcefully to protect the integrity of our platform."
