Electric car lovers and green activists need to take note of the Rinspeed Oasis, a self-driving concept car designed by German supplier and drive engineering company ZF and showcased at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Tuesday. The project is the result of a collaboration between ZF, which supplied the car's technological components, and the Swiss automotive industry think tank Rinspeed, which owns the idea around the Rinspeed Oasis. The concept car is not actually planned for manufacture, but was instead designed to inspire the auto industry.
