The first-ever online Paris fashion week clicks off with the world of runway shows thrown into an existential crisis by the coronavirus. Dior has replaced its usual runway show with a short film by Italian Director Matteo Garrone, showcasing a miniature collection.
Dior is launching this year's Paris Fashion Week, with a fashion show organised at the Longchamp racecourse. Its artistic director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, was inspired by classical dance for this spring/summer 2019 ready-to-wear collection, which she wanted to be lightweight.
