Did you know that circus performers have their own international conference? No, we're not clowning around. More than 120 of the best circus artists from all over the world performed at the gala show of the 41st International Monte-Carlo Circus Festival at the Chapiteau of Monaco on Tuesday. Circus performers gather in the small kingdom of Monaco, located between France and Italy on the Mediterranean Sea, every year to show off their skills and learn new tricks to wow their fans. The festival draws thousands of spectators willing to see the unique performances from some of the world’s best clowns, jugglers, and animal trainers every year. Monaco’s Royal Family, who are well-known for their love and support of circus arts, also made the traditional trip to see the jaw-dropping performances. The festival concludes on January 29.
