Epic Forest Skywalk gives visitors unforgettable views of Kuala Lumpur forest


Kuala Lumpur, Sep 14 (EFE/EPA).- Visitors with a head for heights can walk among the treetops at the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) which recently opened the new Forest Skywalk.Situated in Kepong Botanical Gardens, the FRIM's Forest Skywalk is 250 metres long and stands 18 metres above the forest floor, offering stunning aerial views of the surrounding botanical gardens.     Climate activists have been occupying part of the Dannenrod forest in central Germany in a bid to prevent the felling of trees to build a stretch of motorway. The eco warriors have built treehouses more than ten metres high to prevent the police from evicting them as well as to save the forest's ancient oak trees.
