The new Kia e-Soul brings long-range, zero-emissions power to the urban crossover class. In its third generation, Kia’s pioneering urban crossover – and its third globally-sold electric car – has become more distinctive, dynamic and innovative than ever.While the e-Soul embraces the iconic design and playful character of its predecessors, it is powered in Europe exclusively by electric energy, with a choice of two long-range, zero-emissions powertrains. Kia has announced the prices and equipment details of the fundamentally revised Picanto. The Kia small car will be presented in the 2025 model year with a strikingly changed front and rear appearance, characterized by the new Kia design philosophy “Opposites United”, new exterior and interior colors, new high-tech elements from front collision warning with turning function and active blind spot assistants to LED Headlights and a reinforced body. Despite its compact external dimensions, the Picanto has a spacious, comfortable interior and up to 1,010 liters of storage space. This makes it also suitable for households that need a fully-fledged second car. The efficient 1.0 and 1.2 liter petrol engines are still available for drive, both of which are also available with an automated manual transmission. The standard equipment includes, among other things, a navigation system including the Kia Connect online services and air conditioning. The revised model is available in four versions including the decidedly sporty Picanto GT-Line. In addition, the limited special models “Launch Edition” with exclusive elements and colors will be offered for the introduction of Spirit and GT-line. All versions can be ordered now, with the first deliveries taking place in July. Prices start at 16,690 euros and, as usual with the brand, include the 7-year Kia manufacturer's warranty.
Guided by the brand’s 'Opposites United' design philosophy, the EV9 re-envisions the all-electric SUV with a unique balance of natural and modern elements. The ‘Bold for Nature’ design pillar, which inspires the combination of elements from the natural and material worlds, has played a pivotal role in forming the design of the EV9. The Kia EV9’s exterior provides a sense of serene contemporary calmness befitting of a sophisticated EV for a new age of sustainable mobility. The vehicle features a 3,100-mm wheelbase, supported by a choice of 21-inch, 20-inch or 19-inch wheels. With an overall length of 5,010 mm, it stands at 1,980-mm wide and 1,755-mm tall , displaying a bold and contemporary appearance while still maintaining its unique character.The EV9's front exudes confidence, clarity, and calmness with its clear-cut lines and surfaces. The SUV’s signature 'Digital Tiger Face' showcases its unique identity, which is accentuated by the 'Digital Pattern Lighting Grille' and vertical headlamps, giving the EV9 a visionary and futuristic look. The Digital Tiger Face also features two clusters of small cube lamps adjacent to each headlamp. The EV9's 'Star Map’ LED daytime running lights (DRL) create a sophisticated animated lighting pattern that will signify Kia's Digital Tiger Face for future EV models, while providing a new illumination experience.
Now entering its third model year, the all-electric 2024 EV6 maintains its position as integral to Kia’s “Plan S” strategy. The 2024 model year introduces the 77.4-kWh battery to the EV6 Light, and with it, two new trim designations in rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (e-AWD). For 2024, the EV6 GT is now rated at an EPA-estimated 218 miles of all-electric range (AER), an improvement of 12 miles over the 2023 EV6 GT. Across all EV6 models, newly standard are charge port lighting and charge door marking to facilitate access.
