Au salon CES 2017 de Las Vegas, le constructeur japonais Toyota imagine des solutions pour faciliter la cohabitation entre les piétons et les futures voitures autonomes. Comme d'autres équipementiers et constructeurs avant lui, Toyota a recours à des écrans à cristaux liquides disposés à l'avant et à l'arrière de la carrosserie qui agissent tels des panneaux à message variable. De quoi signifier aux piétons que leur présence a bien été détectée, que l'auto leur cède le passage.
