Hundreds of gallons of foam fire retardant spilled onto the streets around San Jose International Airport, Friday, after a fire alarm system malfunctioned at a private hangar. The foam oozed forth from the hangar submerging cars, street furniture and trees as well as closing several blocks around the airport. The company responsible for the spill, Signature Flight Support, has informed authorities that it will take care of the cleanup. In the meantime, there was a huge foam party on the streets of San Jose.
The massive pop culture Comic-Con International held annually in San Diego is going back to basics this year without Hollywood writers and actors who are continuing their strike.
