Chinese carmaker Qoros presented its new electric Model K-EV concept at the International Automobile & Manufacturing Technology Exhibition, also known as Auto Shanghai 2017, taking place in Shanghai, on Wednesday. The Model K-EV is envisioned to feature two electric motors, producing 870 hp that will allow the car to propel from 0-100 km/h in less than three seconds. Additonaly, a 107 kWh battery pack, which is attached on the vehicle's floor, supplies power to its motors. The battery is designed to enable the concept car to reach up to 300 miles on a single charge. China's automotive industry has been the largest in the world since 2008. Chinese automakers produce more cars than the US and Japanese markets combined. In 2014, China produced over a quarter of the world's cars. Auto Shanghai is one of the world's leading trade fairs for automobiles.
