The Benefits Of Orange Pith

Description

Pith is the spongy white substance that's between the peel and the fruit in oranges and other citrus fruits. In fact, according to Mother Nature Network, when the pith is removed, the fiber content of an orange is reduced by 30 percent. Removing the pith also takes away half of the orange's vitamin C.
