Mercedes-Benz will pursue a differentiated strategic approach with its vans in the future. As presented last year (2023), the company is aiming for a premium strategy for its commercial vans. In the future, a focused luxury strategy will apply to all newly developed, privately positioned vans, as is the case for all Mercedes‑Benz passenger cars. The aim is to fully implement this strategic change with the introduction of the upcoming modular and scalable Van Electric Architecture – VAN.EA for short – from 2026. The new private midsize vans EQV and V-Class are an important milestone on this path. Both are further elevated with new exterior and interior designs. There is also an increase in comfort and safety, especially thanks to more intelligent, digital networking. The models have been available to order from Mercedes‑Benz sales partners and online since January 2024. The standard equipment has been comprehensively upgraded and thereby tailored more precisely to customer requirements. The new V-Class starts at a list price of 59,470.25 euros[1], the new EQV from 75,281.78 euros. The new V-Class also forms the basis for the V-Class Marco Polo camper van, which is offered ex factory. It starts at 80,004.89 euros1 and adopts the model's attractiveness almost completely.

This summer, Mercedes‑Benz Vans presented its new midsize model series for private and commercial use. Now, the sales launch is fast approaching. The midsize van portfolio boasts a new exterior and interior design, as well as increased comfort and functionality, especially thanks to an increase in intelligent, digital connectivity options and enhanced safety and assistance systems. All models will be available to order in January 2024 from sales partners and shortly online. The Vito is available as a Mixto from 46,210.80 euros, as a panel van from 47,074.02 euros and as a Vito Tourer from 57,924.44 euros. The eVito is available as a panel van from 63,438.90 euros and as a Tourer from 68,397.63 euros. The Mercedes-Benz Concept CLA Class unveiled at IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich, Germany, offers a close-to-production insight into the upcoming family of vehicles that stands at the gateway to the brand. The Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) is an electric-first platform engineered for a family of four vehicles covering a range of body styles. It is set to play a major role in accelerating the ramp-up of the Mercedes-Benz electric fleet. As a fundamental part of the wider electric strategy, it will help the company attain its ambitious targets. All vehicles on the MMA platform are being developed in accordance with the Mercedes-Benz “real life safety” philosophy. Following the launch of the Saloon and the Estate, the All-Terrain rounds off the E-Class family as the third model. Mercedes-Benz has offered the E-Class Estate also as an All-Terrain since 2017.The E-Class All-Terrain is equipped as standard with AIRMATIC single-chamber air suspension. It provides up to 46 mm more ground clearance and continuously adjustable damping for the compression and rebound stages of the shock absorbers.Luggage capacity can be expanded from 615 to 1,830 litres. In the plug-in hybrid model, the capacity ranges from 460 to 1,675 litres.Rear passengers benefit particularly from the 22-millimetre longer wheelbase (2,961 millimetres). They now also have 1,519 millimetres of elbow room – an increase of 25 millimetres.The E-Class All-Terrain has a braked towing capacity of up to 2,100 kilograms. This also applies to the plug‑in hybrid. The unbraked towing capacity is 750 kilograms. Thanks to a tongue weight of up to 84 kilograms, e-bikes can also go along for the ride.With the illuminated grille frame (optional), two optical fibre bundles positioned behind the chrome strips receive light from LED modules.The screen graphics can be customised with two display styles (classic and sport) and three modes (navigation, assistance, service). With the new MBUX, the main display icons are now simpler and colour-coded to resemble smartphone screen tiles.Depending on the market, the communication module runs on 5G technology. This standard supports much faster data transfer rates than LTE/UMTS.The digital vehicle key lets drivers use an iPhone or Apple Watch as a car key. After pairing a compatible device paired with the vehicle through Mercedes me connect, the device can be used to start, open and lock the E-Class All-Terrain. Key sharing is also possible. The digital key can be shared with up to 16 persons. In markets where Mercedes me connect services are available, the E-Class All-Terrain can be pre-equipped for the digital key as part of the KEYLESS-GO comfort package.
The load compartment can be expanded from 615 litres to up to 1830 litres. In the plug-in hybrid model, the luggage capacity is 460–1675 litres.The generous dimensions of the passenger compartment are partly due to the wheelbase, which is 22 millimetres longer than that of the preceding model (2961 millimetres). The elbow room in the rear is 1519 millimetres – 25 millimetres more than before.The E-Class Estate has a braked towing capacity of up to 2100 kilograms. The maximum unbraked towing capacity is 750 kilograms. Thanks to a tongue weight of up to 84 kilograms, the carrying of e-bikes is allowed.The illuminated surround of the radiator grille (optional extra) has two optical fibres behind the chrome strips. Light is fed into the glass-fibre bundles via LED modules.With two display styles (Classic and Sporty) and three modes (Navigation, Assistance, Service), the graphics of the screens can be individualised. The new MBUX is accompanied by a change in the presentation of the main icons on the displays. They are presented in a simpler way, and based on the colours used for smartphone tiles.
