During a speech delivered to the press in London's Downing Street briefing room, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announces the push back of the ban on the sale of petrol and diesel cars from 2030 to 2035. "We're going to ease the transition to electric vehicles. You'll still be able to buy petrol and diesel cars and vans until 2035.", he states. Queen Elizabeth II's coffin leaves St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh for a flight back to London where it will be displayed to the public for several days ahead of her funeral next week.
