Ilopango, Aug 10 (EFE).- El Salvador destroyed 1.37 tons of cocaine at a facility in Ilopango, a town a few miles east of the nation's capital, San Salvador, the Attorney General's Office said Tuesday. Colombian Police seized over 12 tons of cocaine valued at over $360 million in major bust on Wednesday. According to Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos this raid became the largest ever seizure in Colombia's history. Reports state that the cocaine was located in the north-western Antioquia province, in four banana plantations near the country's border with Panama. Police reported that the drugs belonged to the trafficking cartel 'the Gulf Clan' and that they arrested four people in connection with cocaine trafficking during their operation.
