The inventor of what might be the world's first 'typhoon turbine' says the device can harness the power of storms to supply Japan with boundless amounts of green energy. The team behind the egg-beater-shaped turbines are testing out their prototype machine on Japan's Okinawa island. The country experiences numerous storms, recording an estimated six typhoons so far this year.
