Researchers have built dust-sized implantable wireless sensors that can monitor nerves inside the body in real time, according to researchers developing the technology. Ben Gruber reports.
A simplified computer model of a mouse brain is created by neurorobotics engineers to demonstrate how the body and brain interact with each other. They mapped 200,000 neurons in the virtual mouse brain to different parts of the rodent's body, including its spinal cord, whiskers, eyes and skin, allowing researchers to perform virtual experiments on the 'creature'. Matthew Stock reports.
