If you're preparing to be a parent, one of the trickiest tasks can be to come up with a name for your newborn. Well, one Bolivian rocker couple from the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra thought long and hard before deciding to name their newborn son after their favorite metal group - Iron Maiden. Cesar Duran Alpiri, the proud father, is a massive fan of the metal band and is surrounded by Iron Maiden memorabilia in his home. The baby boy, whose official name is Iron Maiden Duran Ruiz, was born on February 1st, 2017. Cesar spent months choosing between names and, even though 'maiden' means 'lady,' the English teacher decided to honor his favorite group after all.
One Indian man had such a strong craving for knives that he ate 40 of them over a period of two months. Eventually, the pain in his stomach grew unbearable and he began to lose lots of weight, he decided to go to the hospital in Amritsar, India. The man, a policeman named Surjeet Singh, absolutely baffled the doctors when an ultrasound revealed his medical condition - the 40 knives that he had swallowed were still just lying in his gut.
Surgeons in the northern Indian city of Amritsar say they have successfully removed 40 knives from a man's stomach. Natasha Howitt reports.
