JJ Abrams directed Star Wars Episode VII. Rian Johnson picked up where Abrams left off and directed Episode VIII. Now, Abrams will direct Episode IX. Fans wonder how the two mens styles will shape the Star Wars universe. A practical special effects supervisor gave some insight into the two men. Chris Corbould worked closely with both Abrams and Johnson. He said Abrams has tons of energy and improvises all the time. Johnson, on the other hand, is methodical and shoots whats scripted.
