Over 70,000 fans came together to defy terrorism and pay tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks at the friendly game between England and France at London's Wembley stadium on Tuesday. In a rare measure, British police carried guns around the stadium to protect the squads and the fans.
Tape cordons off a crime scene with officers on patrol at the scene of the incident after two police officers got stabbed in Leicester Square in London. The assailant was tasered and arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and assaulting an emergency worker, the Metropolitan Police said.
