Congress Faces Government Shutdown Over Funding

Description

In the midst of a highly controversial Presidential election Congress is feeling the pressure as well. Democrats and Republicans are at odds with each other over government funding, at such odds that America is at risk for an entire government shutdown. Democrats are insisting that any bill passed for government funding must include funds for Flint Michigan's water crisis. Republicans are fighting this motion hard. Neither party desires to claim the blame for a government shutdown two weeks out from the election.
