Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has officially opened in theaters worldwide. The comic book actioner thas earned over $145 million domestically in its first weekend and topped $425 million worldwide. The film has no shortage of great characters. One character fans loved was Yondu, played by the incomparable Michael Rooker. Yondu barely appears in the trailer but he plays a huge role in the film. Without giving away any spoilers, we can tell you that Rooker was excited that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 explored his character's back story and have him a significant role that fans of the series will never forget.
