France's ambassador calls Australia subs row 'stab in the back'

Description

France's ambassador to Canberra labels the dumping of a decade-old multi-billion-dollar submarine deal a "stab in the back", accusing Prime Minister Scott Morrison of being intentionally deceitful. Jean-Pierre Thébault adds that Australia-France row reached an "unprecedented new low" when a text message from the French president to Australia's leader was leaked.
