"It's one of the happiest days of my life," says Betty Bouin, a civil servant by day, and a drummer and guitarist by night. She's rehearsing with hundreds of other amateur musicians at the Stade de France venue on the outskirts of Paris ahead of a mega concert on Saturday.
Ukrainian soprano Liudmyla Monastyrska was among the performers who took part in Paris Opera's "Concert for Peace" on Sunday -- a benefit concert held in the Palais Garnier to raise money for the victims of the war in Ukraine.
