Ruff time to be a dog as Cypriots abandon their pets

Description

Cyprus's dog shelters are overcrowded with abandoned pets, and the volunteers who run them are struggling to cope. They say that many owners who took in dogs during Covid have now been forced to abandon them because of the economic crisis, whilst dog adoptions have been complicated by Brexit.
