Covid-19 'passports' and vaccine equity: as some countries reopen, others are left behind

As the northern hemisphere summer approaches, governments are racing to unlock travel. Several countries have introduced systems they hope will allow the tourism economy to restart safely. But the EU is one of only a few regions where this is possible. Nearly four out of 10 people in the bloc have had at least one shot of the Covid-19 vaccine. Meanwhile, other regions around the world are struggling to vaccinate even the most vulnerable — a fact the World Health Organization has called a “moral outrage”.

However, the two-dose treatment so it will only go to 50 million Americans. The chances of American's blaming Biden for Trump's actions come summer could be high.

    Japanese intelligence sources say North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has received a COVID-19 vaccination from the Chinese government. According to Business Insider, the obese 36-year-old dictator is a heavy smoker. That's fueled speculation that he would experience complications if he were to contract COVID-19. North Korea's propaganda outlets have been quiet about infection rates in the pariah state. While its capital, Pyongyang, reports suspected cases, it has yet to confirm positive cases. It blames a lone defector from South Korea for bringing in the virus.
