Fewer than 1% of dentists in the United States tested positive for COVID-19 as of June. A report published by the Journal of the American Dental Association reported the news today. This percentage is "far below" that of other health professionals in the United States, says UPI. Healthcare workers are 12 times as likely to be diagnosed with the virus than the rest of the population. The report is based on the results of a survey of a representative sample of 2,200 dentists nationwide. They found that 99% of dentists are using enhanced infection control procedures and disinfection practices.
