Xenophobic protest in Johannesburg calls for expulsion of foreign residents

Johannesburg, Jun 16 (EFE / EPA) .- (Camera: Kim Ludbrook) A group of South Africans marched on Wednesday through the streets of Soweto to demand the expulsion of foreign residents from the area, as well as the eviction of people from several busy local buildings in Johannesburg.The country has been affected by xenophobic attacks against foreigners in recent years and several people were evicted from their shops in Soweto overnight.FOOTAGE OF THE PROTEST IN THE STREETS OF SOWETO IN JOHANNESBURG.
