Zelensky on way to US with military aid likely to top agenda

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was en route to Washington on Wednesday to meet President Joe Biden, during which he is likely to press the need for even greater assistance from the White House in the form of military aid, with Biden set to announce nearly $2 billion in further military assistance for Ukraine that will include a Patriot missile battery to help it defend itself against barrages of Russian missiles, according to a US official.
