Firefighters put out the remains of a fire after a Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rig, President Volodymyr Zelensky's hometown. The missile attack hit a police building killing at least one policeman, and injured dozens of other people. The attack is part of a new wave of Russian air strikes in the centre and east of Ukraine.

President Zelenskyy denounced the attack on the store and cafe in the village of Hroza as a “demonstrably brutal Russian crime” and “a completely deliberate act of terrorism.”
A Russian strike killed at least 17 people, including one child, at a market in east Ukraine hours after America's top diplomat, Antony Blinken, arrived in Kyiv to announce more than 1 billion dollars in fresh aid.
