Satellite imagery from near the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol shows a mass grave site that has expanded in recent weeks to contain more than 200 new graves, a private US company said on Thursday. FRANCE 24's Gulliver Cragg reports from Kyiv.

Mayor Vadym Boichenko gives a press conference on the situation in Mariupol. Russian and Ukrainian forces have engaged in heavy fighting for over a month as they both struggle for control of the city. Mariupol, a port city on the Sea of Azov that is normally home to about 400,000 people, has been under heavy bombardment for weeks.
Propaganda videos from both Russian and Ukrainian forces have been widely shared online, in an effort to prove the control of Mariupol. After the last independent journalists fled Mariupol on March 21, there is still no evidence on who controls the besieged city, despite claims on both sides.
