The one-make championship, organized by MINI Italia with the support of ACI Sport, is ready to kick off the eleventh season. This year there are three categories that compete on the tracks of the main Italian circuits, in six exciting events from 2 July to 23 October 2022.San Donato Milanese. Now in its eleventh consecutive edition, the MINI Challenge 2022 single-make championship warms up its engines to start a season full of challenges. Also this year, MINI Italia renews its commitment to organizing one of the most exciting competitions on the Italian scene. Passion, challenge, community and the art of performance are among the values of the famous championship signed by the iconic premium brand with a sporting DNA.The six events of 2022 will see the drivers compete on the tracks of the most famous national circuits. The MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Lite, the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Pro and the MINI John Cooper Works Challenge Evo are ready to challenge each other in a new season full of emotions. The Academy race category continues in 2022, which also sees the under 25s on the track, as part of the MINI program dedicated to young people.

Driving to your home for Christmas - The Festive MINI returns for 2022

The Festive MINI is back and brighter than ever before, this year wrapped in 3,000 smart LED lights by creator Nicholas ‘Nico’ Martin and supported by MINI UK, to raise money for MS Trust and Duchenne UK.First started over four years ago, the MINI Electric is wrapped in 3,000 app-controlled twinkly lights, capable of generating customisable animations including light patterns and messages, and rhythms synced to your favourite song.This year each individual light is available to sponsor for just £2, and to spread festive cheer and big love even further, Nico will be visiting as many streets as possible in his hometown throughout the festive period. The official ‘switch on’ of the Festive MINI 2022 will take place at The Lexicon Bracknell, on 25 November.In December 2020, the illuminating car came to the rescue when Christmas switch on displays were cancelled due to lockdown, spreading much needed joy and bringing cheer and positivity to people on their own doorsteps, whilst also raising awareness and over £5,000.

MINI TAKES THE STATES 2022 hits the road for another epic adventure

MINI TAKES THE STATES (MTTS) 2022, the legendary MINI owners rally hosted by MINI USA, kicked off this weekend from Farr’s Field in Waterbury, Vermont. Over the next five days, over 2,000 MINI owners with over 600 MINI Cooper vehicles from across the model range will explore a total of nine states and eight cities, raising money for Best Friends Animal Society, a leading animal welfare organization dedicated to ending the euthanizing of dogs and cats in American animal shelters by 2025. The kickoff also marks the debut of the MINI Motoring Club of America (MMCA), a new national MINI car club for MINI owners and enthusiasts open to MINI owners from across the country. Making its return after four years, the biennial MTTS trek will cover more than 1,700 miles in total. MINI owners will be traveling down an inland route from Vermont to South Carolina on state and county roads, stopping in eight cities along the way, with more than 80 pets and their owners coming along for the ride.
