Hispano Suiza has fulfilled the main purpose with which it returned to the automotive world in 2019: to produce vehicles for car enthusiasts that, to date, were only possible in their imagination. After a few months of hard work and dedication at the Barcelona headquarters, the company turned Michael Fux´s dream into reality, as he became the first owner in the US of a Hispano Suiza Carmen Boulogne. Mr Fux took delivery of his Carmen Boulogne hypercar during the 27th edition of the Amelia Island Concours d 'Elegance.
Hispano Suiza, a Spanish manufacturer of hyper-luxury vehicles founded in Barcelona in 1904 by the Suqué Mateu family, continues its international expansion process. Its new model, the Carmen, and its sportier version, the Carmen Boulogne, will be sold in Germany by the Mohr Group, at its exclusive showroom located in Motorworld München. For Hispano Suiza, expansion into Germany is a huge challenge, one that is met with great enthusiasm. The exclusive 100% electric hypercars of the historic Spanish brand will enter the main automotive market in Europe to attract the most demanding customers, with a product with unbeatable technical and design characteristics.Hispano Suiza will be part of the range of models present at the new Mohr Group showroom located in Motorworld München. It is a 1,600 m2 space where the Group, led by the Mohr brothers, Luis and Lorenz, will showcase an amazing display of luxury vehicles, including hypercars and classics.
Hispano Suiza and competition have gone hand in hand since its inception in 1904. Since those years, participation in some of the most prestigious races of the time has not only given the brand an important national and international visibility, but has also allowed the brand to learn about the behavior of its vehicles brought to the highest level of demand, a key task to continue offering its customers increasingly powerful, reliable and, ultimately, better cars.In its new stage, Hispano Suiza has maintained this philosophy. Both the Hispano Suiza Carmen, as well as its more powerful version, Carmen Boulogne - which honors its triumphs in the George Boillot Cup, in Boulogne, a century ago - have been designed by competition engineers, and their development is in charge of authentic pilots racing. Likewise, Hispano Suiza officially participates in the new 100% electric SUV championship, Extreme E, an innovative category that promotes values as important as sustainability, equality and electrification, and that will also provide valuable knowledge that the brand can apply in future models .

The legend of Hispano Suiza doesn’t stop as the company continues its evolution as a manufacturer of fully electric hypercars. Founded in 1904 and set to celebrate its 120th anniversary next year, Hispano Suiza has revealed the name of its new vehicle: Sagrera. A name that, like Carmen or Boulogne, is deeply rooted in Hispano Suiza's history. In 1911, pushed by the commercial success of its vehicles, Hispano Suiza moved to ‘La Sagrera’ district of Barcelona, an area renowned for its industrial activity, There it established the company's first large factory to increase its production. It was located on Ribas road, where it came to occupy a surface area of 50,000 m2 and underwent two extensions to meet the growing market needs. The Hispano Suiza factory employed 1,800 people.
Hispano Suiza has brought together for the first time two of its most iconic cars, the historic 1938 Xenia Dubonnet, and the all-electric Carmen. The stage was the "Chantilly Arts et Élégance" concours, held at the majestic Château de Chantilly, just North of Paris. Despite their 81-year age gap, both models share many similarities, since the Xenia Dubonnet was the inspiration for the design of the Carmen, a model with which Hispano Suiza made its return to the automotive world just over three years ago. The Xenia Dubonnet currently belongs to the Mullin Automotive Museum Collection. The Xenia Dubonnet is considered one of the most elegant and innovative cars in the history of Hispano Suiza. It was created by André Dubonnet, an aviator, athlete, racing driver and inventor who knew the potential of Hispano Suiza engines, since he had used them on his airplanes and had competed with them in car races. Amazed by its capabilities, he decided to purchase a Hispano Suiza H6C, which he chose to personalise with a new, more aerodynamic bodywork and also with the independent suspension system that he himself had patented. He named it after his wife, Xenia, and unveiled it in 1938.
