Home Depot Founder Bernie Marcus Faces Backlash For Supporting Donald Trump

Description

Bernie Marcus co-founded Home Depot in 1978 and is now known as an influential philanthropist. In 2016, Marcus was one of President Donald Trump’s largest donors, giving $7 million to the campaign. According to Business Insider, Marcus said he would continue to support Trump’s campaign in 2019. The news didn’t go well with Home Depot customers, many now boycotting the store and getting rid of their store credit cards.
