Will Call: NYC Blackout Loses StubHub Half A Million In Refunds

Description

New York City's recent hours-long blackout meant that many events in the city were canceled. According to Gizmodo, online ticket marketplace StubHub shelled out $500,000 in refunds. Jennifer Lopez’s concert at Madison Square Garden and Dave Chappelle’s show on Broadway were rescheduled due to the power outage. The company says customers who bought tickets through StubHub will receive valid tickets for the new event dates.
