Emotional, agile and digital: with the A35 4MATIC Mercedes-AMG is presenting a completely new entry-level model to the world of driving performance. It is based on the new Mercedes compact vehicle platform and is powered by a new 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine with output of 225 kW (306 hp). Body shell, suspension, all-wheel drive, transmission, drive programs, fine tuning - every detail has been designed for maximum driving dynamics without compromising on everyday comfort. The performance at sports car level (acceleration 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds) and the specific design also strengthen its identity as a member of the performance family. A true AMG for the Hot Hatch stage!The new A35 4MATIC expands the AMG model portfolio as an attractive entry-level model in every respect. The basic price of 47,528.60 euros (in Germany, including 19% value added tax) makes it easier for new, young and active target groups to choose a Mercedes-AMG for the first time and therefore to move up within the market segment. These customers define their requirements very clearly: they expect exciting design from their sporty vehicle alongside superior performance and inspiring handling characteristics.
Membership of the AMG family is visually underlined by the sport seats upholstered in black ARTICO man-made leather/DINAMICA microfibre with red double topstitching and red seat belts. Two optional Leather packages with a choice of two-tone upholstery, for example in classic red/black, and topstitching on the beltline and dashboard, enhance the interior even further.
Outstanding performance, the ultimate driving dynamics, expressive design - the new Mercedes-AMG compact A45 4MATIC+/A45 S 4MATIC+ sports cars and CLA45 4MATIC+/CLA45 S 4MATIC+ reassert their leading positions in their segments. They seamlessly continue the success story of their predecessors, while setting numerous new standards. Available in two output and torque variants, the completely newly developed 2.0-litre engine is the world's most powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine in manufactured for series production. Even the basic model with 285 kW (387 hp) is more powerful than its predecessor. The S-variant with 310 kW (421 hp) jostles with considerably higher vehicle classes. Perfect sequences in all driving situations, and fast gearshifts measured in milliseconds, are guaranteed by the new AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT-8G dual-clutch transmission with eight gears. The active, fully-variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive distributes the power to the rear axle wheel-selectively by AMG TORQUE CONTROL - for top traction and the spectacular Drift mode. This is made possible by a new rear axle differential featuring two multidisc clutches - one for each rear wheel.With its new compact sports models Mercedes-AMG is demonstrating its high competence in development once again: "We have completely redesigned our "45" models - from the engine and transmission through the chassis, the elaborately constructed drivetrain to the body structure and of course the design itself - all with one goal: to raise vehicle dynamics and the sporty driving experience to a level previously unimaginable in the compact class. The interior of the A 35 4MATIC follows the entry performance logic of Mercedes-AMG with seat covers in ARTICO man-made leather with DINAMICA microfibre in black, red contrasting stitching and red belts or ARTICO man-made leather in black/digital grey. Red piping on the microfibre DINAMICA trim element and ventilation nozzles with a red ring add further accents. The combination of sporty design and sophisticated details is also featured in the MBUX multimedia system with its innovative operating and display concept. In the new A 35 4MATIC too MBUX replaces the previous COMAND systems and creates an even closer connection between the vehicle, driver and passengers. Emotionally appealing presentations underline the clear control structure and feature brilliant maximum-resolution 3D graphics. Visually, the two displays under one shared glass cover blend into a Widescreen Cockpit and as a central element consequently emphasise the horizontal orientation of the interior design.
