  • Mexican authorities detain 800 Central American migrants

    Mexican authorities detained 800 migrants from Honduras and Salvador Thursday in Ciudad Hidalgo. The migrants had earlier crossed the Suchiate border river, asking Mexican authorities for a transit visa to the US. They were resting in a makeshift migrant camp when the Mexican national guard broke it up.
