Oscar winning couple Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem are teaming up for the new thriller, Everybody Knows. This is the latest film by writer/director Asghar Farhadi, whose previous efforts include the Foreign Language Oscar-winners A Separation and The Salesman. Screenrant reports Cruz stars in Everybody Knows as Laura, a Spanish woman who has been living happily with her husband Alejandro (Ricardo Darín) and two children in Argentina for many years. When Laura returns to her small hometown near Madrid for her sister's wedding, Laura's daughter is seemingly kidnapped, the subsequent manhunt brings out unspoken tensions between Laura and her family, revealing "deeply hidden secrets" in the process.
