Relax With Me | Detox Night

Description

Hello friends! This is a quick video about things I love doing on a relaxing/detox night at home. As with all things, what works for me may not work for you. Everyone's body has unique demands, so listen to those demands when creating your own night in! To make it clear for you guys: My definition of "detox" is to live a healthy lifestyle, exercise, eat well and reduce stress so you can optimize digestion and happiness. I do not support gimmicky "cleanses". I believe that health is most often a product of good habit and effort.1. Get everything you have to do that day out of the way, eat, do homework, and give your boyfriend GTA 5.2. Oil cleanse, right now I'm using hazelnut oil and avocado oil, in place of the oils used in my Oil Cleansing video: extra virgin olive oil and castor oil. Remember to use quality, cold-pressed, unrefined oils.3. Bath, I use Sea Salt by Herbivore Botanicals, I also use a clay soap by the same brand on my skin. I use Dr. Bronners in Eucalyptus for a body wash. I use Macadamia nut oil as a hair moisturizer and shaving lotion.4. I braid my hair the seal the moisture5. I have hot water with lemon with home made marshmallows.6. I do yoga! Remember to be present during your practice, tune everything else out and focus on your body and mind. It sounds cheesy but it can be so transformational! To me, yoga is all about changing what you can control and letting go of the rest.Blog post on loving your body called Exercising in the Nude:http://cloudyapples.ca/post/68956268284/exercising-in-the-nudeMy Oil Cleansing Video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTQhXmL5FqUHomemade marshmallows, I put unsweetened coconut flakes on mine so they aren't sticky!:http://wellnessmama.com/6423/healthy-probiotic-marshmallows/Just make sure you get a responsibly sourced, grass-fed gelatin, which is one of the things that makes traditionally cooked chicken soup so rejuvenating when you're sick!http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-9890/10-benefits-of-bone-broth-gut-healing-recipe.htmlChrist Masterjohn, PhD, on Glycine:http://blog.cholesterol-and-health.com/2011/03/anyone-doing-paleo-without-liver-bones.htmlStudy on absorption of magnesium sulfate across the skin:http://www.epsomsaltcouncil.org/articles/report_on_absorption_of_magnesium_sulfate.pdfSarah Pope on gelatin:http://www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/the-crucial-reason-you-need-more-gelatin-in-your-diet/Video FAQ:Q: Can I use the oil cleansing method on oily skin?A: I use it on my oily/combination skin and it works wonders. You just have to experiment with different oils and ratios to figure out which combo best suits your skin's demands! :)Q: Do you have a guided yoga routine?A: Sometimes I use videos and sometimes I just wing it and do what feels good. I can do a Yoga routine video if you guys are interested?Q: Can you make vegetarian marshmallows?A: I've heard agar-agar gels wonderfully (I've never tried it, though)! Just make sure you source it well because a lot of products from the sea have sustainability issues. You'll also miss out on the glycine and proline, so I'd think of them as a healthier sweet treat rather than a detoxifying treat.Q: Isn't "Detox" a scam word?A: I understand and relate to the general skepticism toward the word "detox". It's a fishy word that sounds like someone is just trying to sell something to the unhealthy masses. However, it's important to consider the context in which the word is used. I'm not trying to sell anything (I am not sponsored or affiliated with anything I mentioned in any way) or support any gimmicky, sketchy detox plan. I'm simply showing people what I do on a relaxing night where I do things that are good for my body and mind, so "detox" in a natural and gentle way. I am entirely unsupportive of "Master Cleanses" and methods that people use that are stressful (and counter-productive) on their bodies. But I do believe that setting a night aside to relax, do yoga, eat healthy food and take a nice bath can be very beneficial for the body and mind :)!Let me know what you guys do for a cozy night in! • BMW Protection Driving maneuvers incl. night driving

The two-stage BMW Security Vehicle Training course was developed for participants who, as professional drivers, are responsible for the safety of their passengers. The BMW instructors teach the basics of driving physics and driving technique as well as tactical knowledge that will help drivers to act safely and confidently even in extreme situations. Under the guidance of the instructors, they learn to test and improve their driving skills in realistic practice scenarios, even under challenging conditions - such as in escape situations. With a maximum of eight participants per group and two passengers per vehicle, an intensive and personalised learning experience is guaranteed. The two-day basic training course focuses on basic driving techniques using special protection vehicles. Due to their armouring and the associated additional weight, special protection vehicles have a specific driving behaviour that must be taken into account when handling them. The first day's training includes various driving elements, including emergency braking and evasive manoeuvres, as well as exercises in the dark. The night training programme includes braking and evasive manoeuvres on a slalom course, alternating between high beam, dipped beam and parking lights. To simulate the ability to orientate and react to threat scenarios on an unfamiliar route, the participants are also confronted with explosions on a confusing forest road.On the second day, in addition to high-speed handling and evasive manoeuvres in bends, the curriculum includes a real threat scenario with a simulated vehicle attack. The J-turn is an effective escape manoeuvre that involves turning the vehicle from reverse to forward without losing speed to escape a dangerous situation in the opposite direction. Other key components of the basic module include anticipatory driving and the ability to maintain a perfect overview even under stress.
