Hurricane Florence Forces 'Avengers' Actor To Miss Comic Con Africa

Actor Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will reportedly miss Comic Con Africa due to Hurricane Florence. In a social media message, Mackie explained that with "all the weather traveling across the Atlantic, it kind of pushed my plans back." Even though Florence has been downgraded to a tropical storm, its reach is one of the biggest problems as strong winds can be felt over 175 miles from the eye of the storm. Florence has also left around 786,000 in North Carolina and around 165,000 in South Carolina without power.
