Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto Is Looking Optimistic About NAFTA Talks

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto is expressing optimism on NAFTA talks. A source said Mexico has made a new offer to seek a deal. Nieto has spoken with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about reworking the 24-year-old pact. One NAFTA’s obstacles is how to reconfigure the auto industry. Although Mexico has expressed flexibility, it is refusing to completely meet U.S. demands.
