Users on the Google Product Forums have reported that some problems with some of Google’s smart devices. It appears that these devices are crashing certain Wi-Fi networks. While the original complaints were limited to Google Home Max users, it has been reported that similar issues have been found to affect users of other Google products including Chromecast. 9to5 Google has reported that the company has now implemented a fix that should solve this problem across all affected devices.
Google is looking to give other AI competitors like Apples Siri and Amazons Alexa a run for their money with the introduction of Goggle Assistant. The Google Assistant, allows users to perform tasks such as control smart home devices, make appointments in your calendar events, and of course the tradition online searches by asking questions. It can move throughout your home on wheels while playing music, capturing images or delivering messages. The robot can also perform security check-ins with a 1080p camera installed behind its eyes, and even control home devices. Preorders started on Tuesday for $699.
