Even though the iphone is hot in the news right now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 still appears to have a lot a heat building up to its release. Samsung delighted their fans by making the Galaxy S7 phones waterproof again. The phones can withstand being under at least a meter of water and for at least 30 minutes. One user reported that his phone would no longer charge after performing a dunk test. When he plugged his Samsung fast charger in, the phone displayed a message that moisture had been detected in the charging port and the current never started flowing.

This warning reportedly only applies only to Samsung TVs that have always-on listening features.
