The Siberian winter is snow joke, but some local yoga practitioners are so used to the cold that they practice yoga in temperatures as low as -42 Fahrenheit wearing only their thin bodysuits. While anyone else might lose a finger to frostbite, Ekaterina and Yulia, two yoga lovers from the Siberian town of Tynda in Russia's Amur region, aren't afraid to fight back against the cold with some super hot yoga moves.
Where else but Los Angeles? Self-styled yogis on surf boards practiced the ancient Indian art of yoga on the waters of the Playa Del Rey marina and the sun-kissed California beach, pulling off advanced technical poses on shaky paddle boards. Organised by the group 'Yogaqua', the water-born practice works different muscle groups to maintain balance on the unstable surface and, of course, requires careful concentration. Sarah Tiefenthaler has been paddle boarding since 2010 and loved it, so she decided to try to mix her two passions into one. After a lot of trial and error, Sarah became one of the only yoga teachers to give classes on the water. How long do you think you could hold a yoga pose on a paddle board?
